Responsible Lending
Maxaka only provides funding where the requirement is legitimate, the repayment source is identifiable and the applicant can reasonably service the facility. Where an application does not meet these principles, we say so.
Affordability Assessment
Every application includes an affordability assessment considering income, existing obligations, property performance and the proposed repayment structure.
Verification
Identity, ownership or authority, leases, income, statements, quotations, commissions and transaction confirmations are verified before any formal credit decision is made.
Credit Assessment
Credit assessment considers credit history, property risk, repayment-source reliability and overall exposure. Approval is never automatic and is confirmed only in writing.
Consumer Protection
Costs, terms and obligations are disclosed before signature. We do not advertise rates, fees or approval outcomes that have not been formally assessed and confirmed.
Privacy Policy
Personal information is collected only for the purpose of assessing, providing and administering funding, and is retained and secured in line with applicable law.
POPIA
Maxaka processes personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act. Data subjects may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their information where the law allows.
